This should have been with the other picture....but I ended up really messing up and deleting things I didn't mean to....and redoing posts.....anyway, here is the crazy bird lady.
I feel that if I do quick short posts....publish right away....blogger won't be able to reject me.

I tried to do this on Thursday......

This my second attempt at posting these pictures.

For whatever reason blogger rejected me over and over.



Karen stopped on her way home from work.

She had two more quilts! The quilter did them in record time.

We laid them out on the livingroom floor and I took a couple of quick pictures.

We'll do formal introductions of them when the binding is on and they are ready for their official pictures.

These quilts will be going to Wyoming. Karen is as paranoid about putting them in the mail as I am.

She'll wait until she sees her sister and nieces before giving them their quilts.

I did a teensy weensy bit of sewing. There are red, purple, green and gold blocks in this quilt.

All the red and purple ones are done....I think I will concentrate on this quilt. It is from American Patchwork and Quilting....from a few months ago....

I started then set it aside....greens may go under the knife this morning.

Another Friday night football game.

Watching the other team show us why they are state champs.

Getting confused with which team was who.

I kept looking at the dark jerseys thinking that was us. NO no no.....we are the white team for an away game.

Final score was something like 58-0.

Karen was at home working on binding...

Her next quilt had come home from the quilters.

Her oldest niece will get this one

cause she loves red.

It is quilted with a simple meandering design. It is so beautiful, this picture doesn't do it justice.

Karen made a clothes pin bag too, how cool is that?

It took her an evening and one night of good sleep before she could figure out how the wire thing worked....but once she did ....it took her all of 10 minutes to sew this up!

I did a lot of stuff too....just none of it sewing.

what is the point of having rocks lined up if you can't see them....then again,
maybe I'll just think about it for a few more years.

Tractor joe brought home a new washing machine. The lady told him that is wife would...
LOVE IT!! hmmm.......I guess i do love it.

The old one had a horrible sounding kerrCHUNK when it stopped spinning......

and it would rock out of place...

and lately there was this high pitched squealling sound too...

and little pools of water were showing up when it finished its ...kerrCHUNKING.

It was time for a new one.

What the heck is the difference between normal and casual?

All my normal clothes are casual.

So far we have been using the normal setting and things are coming out fine.

and things are a lot quieter.

My sister and her husband, Mr and Mrs DNA jones are getting back form Italy today. They have been there for 10 days.They loved there holiday, and didn't want to come back.... they are now truly international geocachers.

sigh.....Canada just doesn't seem as "international" any more.

I thought I picked out the best picture, now I am not so sure, I went through 119 pictures to get this one.

My new Friday night home is at the FOOTBALL games, so that is where I will be....

I thought I had more pictures...

I don't know why I couldn't find these yesterday.....

....instead of calling them blurry and bad,
I will say they are edgy.

I'm not sure what the point was here....probably just the fact they are 3 cousins rarely photographed together.

Cousin Joe on the right won one of the beer quilts. A voice in the back of the room said,
"Don't forget your godmother!!"

It was his aunt, my sister....Mrs. DNA Jones.....

I took a picture of her when she said,
"hey look, I am getting ready for Italy!"
(she is there right now)

Cousin joe, who is kind and generous, and because his mother said to do it,

gave his beer quilt to his aunt!

The future owner (Karen) will get this for her yet to be painted dining room wall.....and besides she told me she is tired of looking at the quilt she made several years ago that is hanging there now.

I see light at the end of the tunnel where my homework is concerned and I'll be working in the preschool which has started!! Things may be slowing down at this blog. We will see what I find!
