painted papers...

My great aunt Meta had lots of bingo dobbers.  She has moved to a nursing home now, so my Mom asked if I wanted them. Sure. They are such pretty colors. I tried them out recently.

On plain paper I drew hearts and flowers with a yellow crayon.
Over that I started dabbing with different colors.

Love, love, love.....

I made more "I love you more than coffee, NO WAIT" cards.

and since I am easily side-tracked....

I also starting cutting up painted paper that I had from this free online class...
(I didn't doodle on these, I just wasn't lovin' the results when i did)

My favorite place for fonts is...
under Fancy is "typewriter"
I printed out the typewriter looking words. Size 22.

I cut a bunch of birds from that paper and made several postcards.
I found the words here....(etsy shop)

Thanks Belinda! Yes I am. The first one has unsuccessful. Couldn't find it, but it was hard. We're going back for another try this week. There are loads round here so looking forward to seeing parts of the countryside we haven't seen before.

What are Bingo Dabbers when they're at home. They look like bottles of French syrop to me LOL.

Love your cards. I made my first paper postcard (I usually do fabric) for a Swap-bot Swap this past week. I'm interested in the Strathmore classes but it says it is "by invitation only". How does one go about getting an invite?

Ooooo, those bingo dabbers look pretty cool! Where would one find them?

Love your postcards, and your bird is too cute! Great papers you made/used too. Fun stuff!

Yes, how does one go about getting an invite to the Strathmore classes? That looks fun and interesting. Can you tell me more??
